Shearing shed history

Beermullah shearing shed was built shortly after the second world war and was constructed of wandoo poles and tin cladding. This survived in working order until 2005, utilised by the Harris Families and neighbouring properties. In 2010 the shed underwent a transformation. The characterful wandoo poles and internal cladding were retained, dilapidated parts of the exterior were stripped away, and the building was wrapped in a new layer of insulation and recycled tin, creating a rustic, elegant space for contemporary use.
